i haven’t seen any talk of him on here today– maybe people just don’t know? he did pass before OWL started. but we should talk about him and remember him.
you might remember that mickie won the OWL dennis hawelka award– that’s named after dennis “internethulk” hawelka. this guy was around since the early days and had a supernatural ability to discover and nurture other players. he was considered “old” (certainly the oldest on envyus, being 29/30) but was certainly too young to go.
if you love mickie, fury, any of dallas/envyus, any of the talent, any of the team staff, heck, pretty much anything ow esports related– know that so, so many of the people who are in this scene we love so much are here because of dennis. he touched so many lives while he was here and it’s because of him that ow esports is the way it is today.
