Before people see the ball in the new teaser and assume it’s the escape pod from the Horizon Lunar Colony, this post on reddit pointed out that there’s a poster for a Junkertown mech in the first teaser.
Video of Junkertown on live servers. The Queen used to have general audio for all Attackers, and specific lines for Junkrat, Roadhog, and the Omnic characters (“Only place for omnics in Junkertown is on the scrap heap. Consider yourself warned.”).
All her audio has been removed from live servers.
This is likely in preparation for the Queen to be playable as Hero 28.
OK OK listen, I know there’s some various back and forth on the new hero screen but HEAR ME OUT. I really like it, for reasons I mentioned before. I think for me the biggest issue is that the characters are organized alphabetically. As much as I dislike casting wide classifications over the heroes, there’s definitely a benefit to organizing them loosely. So, I’ve come up with this little suggestion! This is basically my PTR feedback. I would love if, instead of alphabetical, the heroes were organized by their general skill set in relation to each other.
Since the damage class is so large I’ve broken it down into a spectrum (it loops around from Genji to Reaper!) from “point n shooty -> tracking/sniping -> builders -> denial -> mobility -> etc”. This is me slapping something together in Photoshop at midnight, so there may be some things that could be tweaked, but hey! I was struck by inspiration. I would also not label the heroes in game, so the tags such as Bulk Heals, buffs/debuffs, etc, wouldn’t be there. It would just be implied by their kits.
The second image is a look at how the hero screen might be if the damage heroes were cut into two lines. It may end up this way anyway as new heroes are added. I personally like the single line, but see how breaking it up could be visually helpful.
