My Left Brain: These OWL teams dropping players is to overall improve themselves and the level of competition in the League which will be an overall positive to the viewing experience.
May Right Brain: STOP BREAKING UP MY FAVORITE TEAMS YOU HEARTLESS BASTARDS
Sad because Mistakes was constantly compared to [redacted], people would saying things like he had ‘big shoes to fill” when he came on to this roster.
like yes [redacted] was good at the game – but for the entirety of the season, nobody really cared about [redacted]. when uprising had their struggles (i.e there Stage two performance) a lot of the blame was on [redacted].
But then the minute [redacted] gets dropped suddenly he becomes this like god tier perfect player who had a bright future ahead of him. the entire narrative on [redacted] was that it was a shame that he throw it all away. (which is total bs). and everyone conveniently forgets that [redacted] was actually a pretty inconsistent player.
Mistakes got the worst end of this- even though he is leaving the uprising and its sad. I think it could be good for his overall career. he will no longer be compared to [redacted] and he gets a fresh start on a team that actually has chosen him instead of constantly being reminded that he was the 2nd choice.
