also after reading the article i gotta say that s2 they need to boost up security for events that arent matches. it’s a fucking disaster waiting to happen
there was NOTHING in terms of security once i got into the franklin institute to see fusion. i had a rather large purse on me, and they didn’t require me to do a bag check. like what if someone brought a weapon???? what if someone shot at a player???? what would you have to say for yourselves?

i hate to defend mykl but honestly this doesn’t prove or disprove jack shit. remember when everyone at valla denied that they were dropping envy, when fnrgfe members denied being signed to houston, when huk denied internal strife within boston; of course people are going to deny leaks, players/staff can’t just be ‘oh shit yeah you got me u right bruh’, denying this kind of thing even when it’s true is just standard operating procedure.
not saying mykl is necessarily right, just that the person being leaked about is an incredibly unreliable source when it comes to confirming/disproving leaks for pretty obvious reasons.
its so funny when people are like “oh why do you watch esports if you can just play the game” as if anything i ever do while playing overwatch will be as exciting or memorable as watching owl season 1 stage 3 bos v lon city center live
stuff like this does bug me because i do care about region parity! i think it’s a shame that there’s lots of talent in regions like EU and especially regions like SA, PAC, or AUS that aren’t given anywhere near the chance to develop and shine that they deserve.
but saying shit like “i hate all-korean teams” isn’t helping with that. why do you never see any of these people who apparently care so deeply about non-korean players talking about how contenders teams are disbanding after making playoffs because there’s just no money in the scene at all, talking about how the number of NA and EU playoff matches on LAN was cut in half, talking about how SA is the third biggest region in viewercount and doesnt even have LAN finals?
if you bitch about all the teams and players being korean (and funny how glads and fuel only had one US player each, both subs, and philly and mayhem had literally none and nobody complained about those, ain’t it) without earnestly talking about improving the infrastructure that other regions desperately need in order to match the talent that comes out of korea, then…
