Idk if this is going to be unpopular, but fuck it.
I feel like Runaway pissed away the chance to get the entire team into OWL. So many teams that were interested in bringing the whole team in saw the asking price and peaced the fuck out. I understand wanting max value for your team, but (if this is correct given it’s from mykl) asking $3 million for the team and then another $3 million to be given to the org (for buyouts and whatnot) is fucking insane.
Now that teams are loading up on players and looking into other options, the chance of seeing the whole team together in OWL is getting smaller and smaller.
It’s sad to see because (despite some of the players being pieces of shit away from the game) the players are very, very good and they all deserve to be in OWL.
Knowing that you had the chance to make OWL and you end up missing another OWL season because of the outrageous price on your head has to sting for a while too.
Of course some of the players will probably make OWL, but there was a chance to bring the whole team in together and now that isn’t looking like it’s going to happen.
