the outlaws have got to be losing their minds right now though. they’ve been preparing to play against miro and kuki all week and then they look at the screen yesterday and fucking ryu “support god” jehong is playing main tank and what do they do?? how do you prepare???? they’ve got like a half a day?????
i still can’t believe that surefour went from being absolutely shit on by other widows earlier in the season, to now being one of the very best widowmakers in owl, all because fissure sat him down and was like ‘why are you so bad? just get better LOOOL 4Head’, and it actually worked.
for context: geguri and striker were on the team rox orcas in apex season 4, where they went 0-3 in all their matches, losing against lw red (ark, weeked, hotba, pine), gc busan (london spitfire) and afreeca blue (tairong, arhan), and the team disbanded quickly after, with a lot of people viewing them as one of the worst teams in a weak apex season.
now geguri is widely considered to be one of the best off tanks in owl, and striker one of the best tracers….. Redemption
