The first question to ask: why? Why do you all hate him? The obvious answer: you didn’t play him in his prime. Likely explanation: I know that most of you are around 9 or 12 years old. That means you only got into Overwatch in the last couple months. So you never watched saw dps talents such as Tobi play him professionally. And because you didn’t watch him in his prime, you try to compensate for that by criticising anyone playing him even in well thoughtout and complex strats. But here’s the thing: Overwatch isn’t played on Excel spreadsheets. The moment somebody brings up “molten core headshot percentage” or “win rate” I know they know nothing about Overwatch. Torb’s potential cannot be encapsulated by one stat. He’s the second greatest dps, and I am one of the 5 smartest players to ever be in the League. So when I hear somebody say that Tracer is better than Torb, I laugh, because I know that anybody who watched Torb in his prime meta wouldn’t think that. Unlike you guys, I have played Overwatch for a significant amount of time, so I understand Torb’s true potential. You might be jealous of my massive hero pool, or whatever. But unless you’re a LH fan who watched Overwatch in Apex, or have an iq over 160, you don’t know what real, top tier Overwatch looks like. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Just don’t go spouting bullshit about heroes you can’t even play. Talk about your “greats” like the Dive meta, or Pulled Pork, but leave the Torb strat to the adults. Fair?
