One thing to keep in mind is that a LOT of players getting cut right now aren’t being cut because anyone thinks they’re bad. They’re just redundant.

Boston had like eight hundred support players. SDB hasn’t played on stage in ages; neither has Fragi, and I expect we’ll see him go somewhere else as well. Same with FCTFCTN – he’s an amazing tank and will almost certainly start for an expansion team, but it doesn’t make any sense to be paying two of the best main tanks in North America when only one of them can play at a time. They can pick up a cheaper backup tank somewhere, and FCT can go get the play time he deserves and probably a pay raise, too.

… I dunno what to tell y’all about Mistakes though. They better have one hell of a pickup lined up.

Sad because Mistakes was constantly compared to [redacted], people would saying things like he had ‘big shoes to fill” when he came on to this roster.

like yes [redacted] was good at the game – but for the entirety of the season, nobody really cared about [redacted]. when uprising had their struggles (i.e there Stage two performance) a lot of the blame was on [redacted].

But then the minute [redacted] gets dropped suddenly he becomes this like god tier perfect player who had a bright future ahead of him. the entire narrative on [redacted] was that it was a shame that he throw it all away. (which is total bs). and everyone conveniently forgets that [redacted] was actually a pretty inconsistent player.

Mistakes got the worst end of this- even though he is leaving the uprising and its sad. I think it could be good for his overall career. he will no longer be compared to [redacted] and he gets a fresh start on a team that actually has chosen him instead of constantly being reminded that he was the 2nd choice.
