im sorry. But. every commercial or promo they try to do with all these tiny nerd dudes looking tough and ready to battle it out is so funny. no one looks like they could even crush a coke can. The only guy who looks even remotely intimidating is fissure cause he really looks like he could crack a keyboard over the skulls of all these other nerds and not give a fuck

not to get emotional on sideblog at 3 in the afternoon but it’s absolutely incredible to me that this time last year, we still had no clue what the overwatch league would even look like or what it would do to the esports scene as a whole. i remember the only thing we knew in july 2017 was that there would be 12 teams (and that lh would be the seoul team — it wasnt official but come on, was there ever any doubt?). i’m really amazed at how far this scene has come since then and two years in i still love overwatch, as a game and as an esport, and i’m so proud to have been here to witness so much change (that hopefully ends up for the better!)
