it’s come to my attention that some of this community
I know it’s this hellsite come onhave gotten into being super weird in the streams of Overwatch League players. I get that you’re into this beautiful, wonderful nerd world, and you’re welcome to chill here, but I’m going to need you to follow one simple rule when you go into their streams: if you wouldn’t say it to their face, don’t say in their stream.I repeat: if you wouldn’t say it to their face, DON’T SAY IT IN THEIR STREAM
examples:
- literally anything about shipping. stop it right the fuck now. I don’t care if you’re sitting here going “I’d say it to their face uwu”, you’re going to be the first OWL player restraining order and I hope you get banned. knock. it. off.
- no, seriously. these are professionals who are friends with their teammates. would you want things like this said about you and your friends?
- thirst. if you think a player is hot, keep your chill. nice compliments you’d tell acquaintances, like “you’re cute” or “you have a great smile”? go for it. “how big is your dick”? “I want you to fuck me”? banned. get your shit together.
- asking really personal questions that you would never ask anyone IRL ever. “what underwear do you have on right now”? are you going to enjoy your week-long timeout? probably not, so don’t ask weird shit
- this is more a reddit dudebro problem than a tumblr problem, but don’t be mean to them just because you want a reaction. “ur a trash player lol” you know what reaction you’re going to get? a ban.
owl players are real people and honestly just a bunch of nerds who recently got ultra popular. these aren’t your highly paid actors who probably get intensive coaching and therapy for after tumblr people are being fucking weird to them at cons. they aren’t paid enough for this shit.
knock it off.
or don’t and get permabanned, see if I care
